Socomec India has launched MODULYS XM UPS, a medium medium-power UPS solution with 50 kW modules and scalable power up to 600 kW. The device features hot-swappable modules, ensuring effortless maintenance. The static bypass and all other components can be replaced seamlessly through front access while the UPS is operational, without any disruptions. The device incorporates a 50 kW power module and an optimised array of fully equipped systems: MODULYS XM for 250 kW + 50 kW redundancy, and MODULYS XM for 600 kW + 50 kW redundancy. The 50 kW power modules of the device have demonstrated certified reliability exceeding 1,000,000 hours of mean time between failures, as verified through third-party assessment using robust data. This duration is at least four times longer than the leading standards in the market. Furthermore, third-party certification has confirmed the device’s seismic resistance and dual immunity to disturbances. On-site personnel can expand the system by simply plugging in a module, with no associated risks. Moreover, enhancing its short-circuit current withstanding capability is achievable by incorporating an additional bypass module. The device boasts a design lifespan of over 25 years in a data centre setting, and over 20 years even in challenging conditions. Moreover, the continuous availability of modules and all subassemblies is assured for the entire lifespan of the UPS.
