Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dalmia Bharat Limited, has divested its entire 25.44 per cent stake in O2 Renewable Energy V, a special purpose vehicle of O2 Power. The transaction was valued at Rs 108.2 million.
Furthermore, out of the total stake, 12.33 per cent has been divested to JSW Neo Energy and 4.99 per cent to Goldman Sachs Services. The remaining 8.23 per cent has been transferred to Syngene International. Moreover, the stake was originally acquired to secure 11 MW of wind power from the O2 Renewable Energy V’s project in Karnataka under a captive arrangement.
Earlier in March 2025, O2 Power inked a power purchase agreement with Jubilant Ingrevia Limited to integrate renewable energy into Jubilant Ingrevia Limited’s SEZ Bharuch manufacturing facility in Gujarat.
