RWE sells 350 MW Polish offshore wind project to PGE

RWE has entered into an agreement with PGE for the sale of the F.E.W. Baltic II offshore wind project in the Polish Baltic Sea. The project has a planned installed capacity of 350 MW and is located around 50 km off the coast, north of the town of Ustka. The transaction is expected to reach financial close in the first quarter of 2026. As part of the arrangement, RWE has already completed the transfer of the Environmental Decision and associated documentation for the neighbouring offshore wind site identified as 44.E.1. to PGE.

In December 2025, RWE commissioned multiple solar farms along the A44n motorway in North Rhine-Westphalia, adding a total installed capacity of 86.5 MWp, or 74.6 MWac. The projects comprise approximately 141,000 solar modules, and is located in the Rhenish region between the towns of Bedburg and Jüchen.

Also, in December, RWE was awarded four renewable energy projects contracts for difference under Italy’s FER-X auction. These included the 42 MW Serra Giannina wind farm in Basilicata, the 17.65 MWac Ponte Valentino 1 and 2 ground-mounted solar plants in Campania, and the 8 MWac Carcitella agri-PV plant in Sicily. Construction of all projects scheduled to begin in 2026.
