Suzlon and Yanara ink new wind contracts

Suzlon Group and Yanara have signed two new wind power contracts of 153 MW each. The contracts are for Yanara’s firm and despatchable renewable energy (FDRE) projects in Rajasthan. Under the contract, Suzlon will install 102 of its S144 wind turbine generators with hybrid lattice towers, each rated at 3 MW, at Yanara’s two FDRE projects.

The combined capacity of these two projects is around 800 MWp. The electricity generated from these projects will partly meet Yanara’s power purchase agreement commitments with NTPC and NHPC.

Earlier in August 2025, Suzlon Group committed to powering all of its manufacturing units entirely using renewable energy by 2030.

Furthermore, in March 2025, Suzlon secured a 204.75 MW wind energy order from Jindal Green Wind 1 Private Limited, a subsidiary of Jindal Renewables.
