Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) has commissioned a 450 MWp/300 MWac solar power project, which is compliant with the domestic content requirement. Situated in Bikaner, Rajasthan, the NHPC-owned project has been developed by TPREL and will produce around 17,230 million units of green electricity over its operational lifetime. The power generated from the project will be supplied to Punjab State Power Corporation Limited.
In October 2025, TPREL inked a power purchase agreement with Tata Power Mumbai Distribution for a contracted capacity of 80 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy project.
Furthermore, in September 2025, TPREL inked a MoU with Bank of Baroda to provide financing solutions for micro, small, and medium enterprises and commercial and industrial customers opting for solar energy.
