Ohmium International has launched the third generation of its Lotus electrolyser called Lotus Mark 3, which has attained a compact total land usage area of 29.7 m² per MW. The comprehensive and advanced electrolyser system encompasses balance of plant, power distribution and power electronics. It also entails water treatment, gas-liquid separation, hydrogen purification and cooling systems. These components enable the system to efficiently convert AC power and city water into pressurised hydrogen, which is highly pure. Furthermore, this process streamlines production and minimises the overall footprint. The hyper-modular design of the system makes installation simpler by eliminating the requirement for cranes in most cases. Maintenance is improved due to the rack-in, rack-out design, which enables easy access using basic tools like trucks or forklifts. This lowers downtime and operational costs.
