Ohmium International and InSolare Energy have partnered to develop a 4 MW green hydrogen project for NLC India Limited in Neyveli, Tamil Nadu. The project is expected to produce up to 700 metric tonnes of green hydrogen annually.
Ohmium International will provide electrolyser technology and manufacturing support for the project. Furthermore, InSolare Energy will contribute its experience in solar, hybrid energy systems, and green hydrogen technologies for the development and execution of the project. The hydrogen produced will be used for power generation, industrial applications, and mobility purposes.
Earlier, in April 2026, NLC India Limited entered into a loan agreement worth 100 million with KfW. The funding was intended to support the company’s renewable energy initiatives, particularly in solar generation and battery energy storage systems.
