Hygenco Green Energies has signed agreements to raise $105 million in equity investment from a consortium of global institutional investors, including International Finance Corporation (IFC), Siemens Financial Services, and the Fullerton Carbon Action Fund.
The equity raised will be used across three key areas. It will support the development of multiple commercially viable green hydrogen projects across India, and expand the supply of competitive, high-quality green molecules to industrial customers. Additionally, it will enable greater capital mobilisation by attracting large-scale private investments at the asset company level in green hydrogen and its derivatives, such as green ammonia.
In December 2025, Hygenco signed an MoU with the Government of Telangana to develop a green hydrogen production facility. Furthermore, in July 2025, Hygenco commissioned a green hydrogen and green oxygen production facility in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.
