Inox Neo Energies Limited, the renewable independent power producer arm of Inox Clean Energy Limited, has executed definitive agreements with Evergreen Power Mauritius Private Limited and Evergreen Renewables Private Limited (entities of Evergreen Group). The agreements are for the acquisition of wind-solar hybrid portfolio, which has a contracted capacity of 640 MW.
The projects are being implemented under various special-purpose vehicles held by the Evergreen Group through its holding companies. Furthermore, the transaction includes five hybrid projects in Maharashtra, which have been contracted through tenders by SJVN Limited and NTPC Limited. These projects consist of SJVN Hybrid 01 and SJVN Hybrid 02, each with a capacity of 60 MW, NTPC Hybrid 01 and NTPC Hybrid 02 with capacities of 200 MW each, and NTPC Hybrid 02 (Green Shoe) with a capacity of 120 MW. Additionally, all the projects will be connected through the Central Transmission Utility of India Limited 400/220 kV substations in Maharashtra.
Earlier in July 2025, Inox Neo Energies completed the acquisition of Skypower Solar India Private Limited in a deal valued at approximately Rs 2.65 billion.
