ACME Cleantech Solutions Private Limited (ACME) has emerged as the winner of Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) eleventh green ammonia auction under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition Programme (Mode-2A-Tranche-I). ACME will supply 20,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) of green ammonia to Indorama India Private Limited in Haldia, West Bengal. The capacity was secured at a tariff of Rs 64.74 per kg. Furthermore, this marks ACME’s sixth win in a planned series of 13 green ammonia auctions, under a tender aggregating a cumulative procurement capacity of 724,000 tonnes per year.
ACME won the first auction of this series in July 2025, under which it will supply 75,000 TPA of green ammonia to Paradeep Phosphates Limited in Odisha. The capacity was secured at a tariff of Rs 55.75 per kg. Its second win came in SECI’s seventh auction, where ACME will supply 50,000 TPA to Coromandel International Limited in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, for 10 years, with capacity secured at a tariff of Rs 51.89 per kg.
The third win was in SECI’s eighth auction, with ACME set to supply 100,000 TPA of green ammonia to Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited at Kandla, Gujarat, for 10 years, at a tariff of Rs 54.73 per kg. Furthermore, it bagged its fourth win in SECI’s ninth auction, where it will supply 100,000 TPA to IFFCO Paradeep at a tariff of Rs 49.75 per kg. The fifth win came in the tenth auction, in which ACME will supply 25,000 TPA of green ammonia to Paradeep Phosphates Limited in Zuarinagar, Goa, at a tariff of Rs 62.84 per kg.
