Amogy and GreenHarvest join forces for ammonia-to-power project in Taiwan

Amogy has partnered with GreenHarvest for the deployment of an ammonia-to-power system in Taiwan. Under this partnership, Amogy will provide the ammonia-to-power system, whereas GreenHarvest as the power generation and distribution partner, will lead local integration.

Installation of the system is scheduled between late 2026 and early 2027. The installation will take place at a selected large industrial electricity consumer facility in Taiwan. Furthermore, the partnership provides means for reducing scope 1 and scope 2 emissions in eco-conscious manufacturing sectors and also aligns with Taiwan’s developing carbon trading framework.

Earlier in April 2025, Amogy partnered with GS Engineering & Construction, HD Hyundai Infracore, and South Korean city Pohang-si for the deployment of an ammonia-powered distributed power generation system. The companies will co-develop and deploy a 1 MW pilot power generation system by 2026, with plans to scale up to 40 MW for commercial operations by 2028-2029.
