ACME Solar orders 3.1 GWh BESS from Zhejiang Narada and Trina Energy

ACME Solar Holdings (ACME Solar) has placed an order of over 3.1 GWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) from Zhejiang Narada and Trina Energy. The order has been placed to procure high-efficiency and scalable storage solutions.

The delivery of the order is planned in a phased manner over the next four to eight months of fiscal year 2025-26. Furthermore, the order will support the deployment of BESS across the company’s multiple firm and dispatchable renewable energy and battery-linked projects. These projects are scheduled for commissioning over the next 12-18 months across various states in India.

Earlier in June 2025, ACME Solar commissioned an additional 75 MW capacity at its ACME Sikar solar project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. This follows the earlier commissioning of 165 MW at the project site, bringing the total commissioned capacity to 240 MW out of a planned 300 MW.
