Serentica Renewables has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with NTPC Limited to supply 200 MW of firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) to Uttar Pradesh’s discoms. The agreement is structured to ensure availability of renewable power during the state’s morning and evening demand peaks.
The energy supply will utilise over 600 MW of hybrid solar, wind, and battery storage assets, deployed across multiple states. These assets will be integrated to provide consistent, on-demand power delivery.
The project will be developed at various locations in India and will rely on Serentica’s hybrid infrastructure. Large-scale battery storage will be used to ensure energy availability even when renewable generation is low.
