AE Solar has introduced bifacial solar modules, CMD-L144BD, with power outputs ranging from 560 W to 580 W, specifically designed for vertical installations and agrivoltaic applications. This new launch is part of the company’s Terra series. These n-type tunnel oxide passivated contact modules can reportedly achieve up to a 10 per cent power gain from the rear side. Each panel consists of 144 half-cells with an efficiency of 20.62- 21.36 per cent. The modules feature a 30 mm anodised aluminum alloy frame and a 2.0 mm glass cover. They measure 1.19 metres in width, 2.3 metres in height and 30 mm in thickness, with a total weight of 33 kg. They operate efficiently within a temperature range of -40 °C to 85 °C.
