SJVN Green Energy has invited bids for the development of GETCO-connected wind power projects of up to 100 MW in Gujarat, with a comprehensive 10-year operations and maintenance (O&M) agreement. The last date for bid submission is November 20, 2024.
According to the tender guidelines, bidders are invited to propose wind projects with a minimum capacity of 50 MW and a maximum capacity of 100 MW. Proposals can be for a single project of either 50 MW or 100 MW, or two separate 50 MW projects. Deposits of Rs 27 million and Rs 54 million are required for the 50 MW and 100 MW projects, respectively.
The scope of work includes developing the wind projects, identifying and acquiring land, and executing lease deeds in favour of SJVN Green Energy. Additionally, the scope covers design, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, transportation, construction, erection, installation, testing, commissioning, and power evacuation up to the grid substation. The projects must be commissioned within 480 days from the date of the Letter of Award (LOA), and the bidder will provide 10 years of comprehensive O&M.
In October 2024, SJVN Green Energy also issued an EPC tender for the development of up to 200 MW of solar photovoltaic projects in Gujarat under GUVNL Phase XXII. In the same month, SJVN Green Energy floated a tender for the design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of solar projects of a cumulative capacity of 700 MW (100 MWx7 plots) at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat.
