Sungrow has introduced the EMS3000 energy management system and iSolarBPS battery pre-diagnosis system. The EMS3000 utilises advanced technology to facilitate plant-level digitisation and intelligent energy management. It features MS-level rapid despatch response, active grid support, plant system monitoring and equipment diagnostics. It optimises energy consumption and improves charging and discharging efficiency through intelligent management. The EMS3000 also actively supports grid stability with strategies such as rapid frequency and voltage regulation, flexible inertial support and damping control. It quickly generates optimal dispatch strategies for various scenarios from both the generation and user perspectives. It can support black starts in various scenarios, including thermal power and renewable energy, ensuring the smooth operation of modern power systems. The system provides real-time feedback on plant status, detects equipment abnormalities, offers intelligent fault analysis and issues timely warnings, eliminating the need for manual troubleshooting and reducing labour and time costs by 50 per cent. Furthermore, it can easily adapt to multiple power plant scenarios.
The iSolarBPS system provides instant health assessments of battery cells by analysing factors such as voltage consistency, internal resistance and short circuits. It can produce diagnostic reports for large-scale power plants in under a minute. When cell issues are detected, iSolarBPS identifies the problem and suggests repairs, eliminating manual inspections and boosting maintenance efficiency by 30 per cent. Moreover, iSolarBPS can proactively detect temperature, voltage and security operations centre inconsistencies seven days in advance; internal short circuit risks 100 hours beforehand; and thermal runaway risks one hour in advance.
