The hydrogen division of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has issued scheme guidelines for funding of testing facilities, infrastructure, and institutional support for development of standards and regulatory framework under the National Green Hydrogen Mission.
The objectives of this scheme are:
- Identification of the gaps in the existing testing facilities for components, technologies and processes
- Creation of new testing facilities/infrastructure to test, validate and certify technologies, and processes
- Upgradation of existing testing facilities
- Ensuring safe and secure operations of equipment/instruments
- Encouraging participation from private as well as government entities
