Pohjan Voima, Finsilva ink co-operation development agreement for 500 MW wind and solar power

Arise, through its Finnish subsidiary Pohjan Voima, has entered into a co-operation agreement with Finsilva. The co-operation expands opportunities for the development of new wind and solar projects, which may also include battery storage.

Pohjan Voima and Finsilva have identified five new project areas suitable for developing approximately 500 MW of wind and solar power. These early-stage projects will now be incorporated into Arise’s portfolio.

Currently, three of Pohjan Voima’s wind farm projects are located on land partially owned by Finsilva in Karstula, Keuruu and Parkano.
