NTPC Limited has issued a request for proposals for 1,153 kW grid-connected rooftop solar project. The project will be situated in Maharashtra for the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
The project involves the installation of solar photovoltaic systems on the rooftops of various ICMR and other government buildings. These systems must be placed in areas free from shadows to ensure maximum power generation for each building. The final capacity of each project will be decided through detailed engineering evaluations and the approved rooftop design. The winning bidder will handle the design, engineering, testing, and all related activities, including an initial visual assessment of the roof, water, electricity, and security arrangements, as well as determining the optimal capacity for the solar projects. The developer will also be responsible for operations and maintenance for a period of five years. The bid submission deadline is June 26, 2024.
