KSEB floats O&M tender for a 1 MW grid-connected and ground-mounted solar project in Kerala

The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) has floated an operations and maintenance tender for a 1 MW grid-connected and ground-mounted solar project on the premises of the 220 kV sub-station at Kanjikkode, Kerala. The winning bidder will get the contract for three years.

According to the bid documents, the scope of work includes cleaning of the solar modules, vegetation control, system inspection, supervision and control of the project, coordination of maintenance activities, and executing everything necessary to make sure the project stays in a good condition for three years. The bid submission deadline is June 14, 2021.

In March 2021, ITI Limited invited bids for developing 1.2 MW grid-connected rooftop or ground-mounted solar power projects with net metering systems at its premises in Palakkad, Kerala. The successful bidder will be responsible for the survey, supply, installation, and commissioning of the project. Additionally, they will also have to carry out operation and maintenance activities for five years.

In February 2021, the Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research and Technology invited bids to solarise 500 HP of grid-connected agricultural pumps under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri KisanUrja Suraksha evamUtthaanMahabhiyaan (PM KUSUM) program in Kerala.

In September 2020, KSEB invited bids under a tender for setting up 200 MW of solar power projects. The minimum capacity of a single project was 5 MW and the maximum could be 200 MW.
