MSEDCL has issued a tender for the procurement of power from 500 MW of solar projects under Phase V of intra-state grid-connected solar power projects. As per the tender document, bids must be placed for a minimum project capacity of 5 MW. The solar projects that will be developed inside the solar park will have a commissioning deadline of 15 months, whereas the projects developed outside the solar park will have a commissioning deadline of 18 months. MSEDCL has set a ceiling tariff of Rs 2.90 per kWh for this tender. The last date for the submission of bids is January 28, 2020.
