NTPC Limited has invited bids for development of 1,000 MW of grid-connected solar power projects (Tranche-I) under Phase II of the central public sector undertaking scheme on June 11, 2019. The last date for submission of bids is July 15, 2019.
The scope of work involves design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading, storage, installation and commissioning of grid connected solar projects of capacity 50 MW to 300 MW on a turnkey basis under domestic content requirement category.
The scope also includes operations and maintenance (O&M) of the plant along with electrical equipment, consumables and spare parts for a period of three years from the date of successful completion of trial run. NTPC intends to finance the project through its own resources.
