KPI Green Energy Limited has begun generating and supplying power from its 200 MWac/240 MWdc grid-connected solar power project in Khavda. The project was secured from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited, which is also the project’s offtaker. The project has achieved grid synchronisation, with initial power injected into the state grid.
Furthermore, the project is being executed under a long-term power purchase agreement and aligns with Gujarat’s efforts to scale up renewable energy capacity and strengthen grid reliability. Additionally, it is among the first solar projects to be commissioned at the 1.8 GW GSECL Solar Park (South Block) in Khavda.
Earlier in December 2025, KPI Green Energy Limited secured a work order worth approximately Rs 4.89 billion from Gujarat State Electricity Corporation for the engineering, procurement, and construction of a 142 MWp/110 MWac floating solar photovoltaic project.
