Fujiyama Power Systems Limited has commissioned a 1 GW solar cell manufacturing facility at Dadri, Uttar Pradesh. The company now operates a total solar panel manufacturing capacity of 1.6 GW, with 1.2 GW based at Dadri. The newly commissioned 1 GW solar cell line will be fully used for captive consumption.
Furthermore, the facility represents a total investment of Rs 3 billion. The investment was sourced through a mix of internal accruals and debt. Moreover, the facility strengthens the company’s supply-chain security, reducing dependence on imported solar cells and improving cost control.
Fujiyama Power Systems Limited is a provider of rooftop solar solutions with an extensive portfolio of over 500 stock-keeping units across solar panels, inverters, lithium and tubular batteries, chargers, and power-electronics systems. The company combines its engineering capabilities with an integrated manufacturing model spanning four facilities across Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana, and a 2 GW fully integrated solar power generating system expansion at Ratlam.
