ReNew inks agreement with Google for a 150 MW solar project

ReNew Energy Global Plc (ReNew) has inked a long-term agreement with Google for the development of a 150 MW solar project in Rajasthan. Under the agreement, Google will procure the energy attributes of the solar project from ReNew. 

The project is anticipated to generate around 425,000 MWh of clean electricity per annum. The solar project is expected to be commissioned in 2026. 

Earlier in November 2025, ReNew received $331 million from the Asian Development Bank to support the development of a clean energy project in Andhra Pradesh.

Furthermore, in March 2025, ReNew announced that it will invest Rs 220 billion for the development of hybrid renewable energy projects in Andhra Pradesh.
