Kunamneni Technologies has emerged as a winner in NTPC’s operations and maintenance (O&M) auction under which it will provide O&M services for two solar projects. This includes a three-year O&M for a 92 MW floating solar project at NTPC Kayamkulam in Kerala. It also includes two years and nine months of O&M for a 5 MW ground-mounted solar project at Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair) in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work includes daily monitoring of string outages. It also involves restoring inverter trips and handling breakdowns and tripping incidents. Additionally, Kunamneni Technologies must also investigate all high-tension and equipment tripping events.
Furthermore, the value of the awarded contract is approximately Rs 166.72 million. The tender was floated earlier in July 2025.
In September 2025, NTPC floated an engineering, procurement, and construction tender to set up a 2 MW solar project at Dump C of the Pakri Barwadih coal mine in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand.
