The funds raised will be deployed in constructing a technological platform for streamlined engagement with multiple stakeholders and expansion of the loan book and workforce of the company. The Mumbai-based solar finance platform provides financial aid to MSMEs for rooftop solar asset installation.
Aerem was incorporated in the year 2021 and serves as a fast and convenient platform to provide solar financing at competitive rates. The company collaborates with a robust network of solar installers to provide collateral-free loans at a low-interest rate to their MSME clients.
In July 2022, BiofuelCircle, a digital platform for green fuels based in Pune raised $0.75 million in its second round of seed funding. The funding round was led by various financiers including Spectrum Impact and Better Capital. The company now plans to launch operations in north India by the end of 2022 and widen its digital toolkit.
