Neoen divests 760 MW French renewables portfolio to Plenitude

Neoen has reached an agreement to sell a 760 MW segment of its operational renewable energy portfolio in France to Plenitude, a subsidiary of Eni. The portfolio covers 52 projects, comprising 37 solar farms, 14 onshore wind projects and one battery energy storage system (BESS) facility. Neoen will continue managing these projects for some more years under an asset management arrangement.

The transaction is expected to close by year end, subject to standard regulatory clearances and closing conditions. Moreover, following this sale, Neoen’s portfolio of operational or under-construction projects amounts to 1.1 GW of capacity in France. This comprises 754 MW of solar capacity, 307 MW of onshore wind and 115 MW/213 MWh of BESS.

In October 2025, Neoen inaugurated the 412 MW Goyder South wind farm in South Australia, developed in two stages with a total 75 turbines. It supplies power under three power purchase agreements (PPAs), including a 14-year PPA for 100 MW with the Australian Capital Territory government, a 10-year PPA for 40 MW with Flow Power, and a 70 MW baseload agreement with BHP.
