Deye has introduced its latest high voltage hybrid inverter. Designed for commercial and industrial (C&I) applications, the inverter has capacities ranging from 29.9 kW to 80 kW. Furthermore, the inverter supports the company’s battery offerings and can operate between 160 V and 1,000 V.
The system uses lithium ferro phosphate batteries, which are based on non-flammable and non-explosive technology. Further, the batteries can provide up to 6,000 cycles at recommended C-rates. The inverters have a battery management unit integrated with protective features against over/undervoltage overcurrent and extreme temperature, ensuring battery safety and efficiency.
Key features of the inverter include time of use and a virtual synchronous generator (VSG). The time-of-use feature allows the consumer to set the window for charging and discharging the batteries based on peak and off-peak hours, tariff and demand. Meanwhile, the VSG function permits seamless integration with diesel generators. When solar power generation or the battery’s state of charge is not adequate, the inverter triggers the generator to supply load and recharge the battery.
