KPI Green Hydrogen & Ammonia Private Limited (KPI GH), a KP Group company, has inked a MoU with AHES Co. Limited and GH2 Solar Limited to establish and operate a green ammonia production facility in India. The facility will have a capacity of 100,000 metric tonnes per annum.
KPI GH will develop and operate the green ammonia facility. Additionally, AHES and GH2 will extend technical and strategic support, which includes arranging offtake agreements for the green ammonia produced, targeting markets in South Korea, Japan, and other international destinations. Furthermore, AHES will also serve as one of the primary offtakers themselves.
The renewable energy and infrastructure solutions for the facility will be supplied by KPI Green Energy Limited, K.P. Energy Limited, and KP Green Engineering Limited, which are entities of KP Group.
Earlier in August, KPI Green Energy Limited, a subsidiary of KPIG Energia Private Limited, received a letter of award from Aditya Birla Renewables Limited for a 64 MWac / 96 MWp solar balance of system power plant at Mahua.
