Phoenix Contact has introduced the HEAVYCON Click-in connectors for heavy-duty applications, combining push-in connection technology with an innovative click-in latching mechanism, to eliminate the need for tools during installation. The contact inserts enable the direct connection of rigid and pre-treated conductors, with audible and tactile feedback confirming their secure installation in the connector housing.
The push-in technology supports both standard and protective earth conductors, enabling simple, screwdriver-free wiring. Further, the connector’s mechanism ensures shock- and vibration-resistant connections. These contact inserts are compatible with all plastic and metal housings in Phoenix Contact’s HEAVYCON STANDARD and EVO series. The elimination of screw connections and tool requirements reduces installation time while maintaining connection reliability.
