Evren, a renewable energy platform established by Brookfield in India, has secured a $100 million investment from ALTÉRRA, Brookfield Asset Management, and other investors. The funding will support the development and construction of up to 11 GW of solar, wind, and battery storage projects across Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh. The investment was reportedly made through the ALTÉRRA Acceleration Fund and aims to strengthen India’s clean energy infrastructure in high-potential regions.
In April 2025, Evren signed a power purchase agreement with NTPC Limited to supply 300 MW of firm and dispatchable renewable energy through a hybrid mix of solar, wind, and battery storage systems.
