GREW Solar to set up 3 GW cell and module facility in Madhya Pradesh

GREW Solar will set up a backward-integrated solar module manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh with an investment of Rs 30 billion. The plant will be located in Narmadapuram near Bhopal spanning 60 acres and will have an annual production capacity of 3 GW for cells, and modules. Once operational, the facility is expected to generate employment for over 1,000 people in the region.

In the same month, GREW Solar partnered with ACME Solar Holdings Limited to execute a solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, utilising its Topcon solar modules from the 3 GW manufacturing facility near Dudu, Jaipur, while both companies plan to further strengthen their collaboration.

In December 2024, Grew Energy announced plans to supply 500 MW of solar modules for Jindal Renewables’ solar power project in Rajasthan, aiming to enhance solar energy adoption and advance renewable energy solutions.
