Lubi Industries has secured a contract from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) to manufacture, supply, install, and commission 1,400 fast DC electric vehicle (EV) chargers across India. The chargers, with a capacity of 60 kW, will be deployed at BPCL retail outlets nationwide, facilitating reliable and efficient charging for EV users.
This agreement constitutes a significant share of the total DC chargers expected to be installed annually in India, contributing to the country’s growing EV infrastructure. The chargers will be locally manufactured to meet stringent quality standards, emphasising indigenisation and adherence to regulatory benchmarks.
