At an estimated cost of Rs 0.15 billion for land, Alpex Solar Limited’s board of directors approved the allocation of approximately 25,873.27 square meter (about 7 acres) of land by the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) in Kosi Kotwan, Mathura, along national highway 19. The company is set to make its initial payment installment for the allotted land soon.
The land plot will be utilised for establishing a solar panel and module manufacturing facility and it would receive approval from all relevant authorities. The company previously engaged in the e-auction process conducted by UPSIDA for the allocation of industrial land.
Recently, in March 2024, Alpex Solar Limited announced that it received orders for the supply, installation and commissioning of 1,434 solar water pumping systems from the Department of New & Renewable Energy, Government of Haryana.
In February 2024, Alpex Solar Limited’s initial public offer garnered a tremendous response from investors, achieving a subscription rate of 303 times by the conclusion of the bidding period.
