Rays Power bags EPC orders for 520 MWp of solar projects

Rays Power Infra has declared its success in obtaining three engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts for solar projects with a total capacity of 520 MWp. Two of these contracts are with a central public sector undertaking, and another is with a global renewable energy developer. These contracts signify the company’s foray into the markets of Gujarat and Assam.

In a bid to broaden its footprint, Rays Power Infra has tendered numerous proposals for solar EPC projects in India, Mauritius, Liberia, Bangladesh, and Sierra Leone. The combined value of these bids surpasses Rs 34 billion, and the results are currently pending.

In December 2023, Rays Power Infra Limited signed a MoU with Uttarakhand government to establish a 500 MW solar park in the state. In January 2023, Rays Power Infra signed a MoU with the Rajasthan government to build a photovoltaic power station. In August 2022, Rays Power Infra announced the opening of a 150 MW grid-connected solar project in Raichur and Koppal, Karnataka.
