NTPC Limited re-invited bids for development of the 15 MW floating solar PV project in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The last date for submission of bids is July 23, 2019. The bids for the tender were earlier invited in January 2019.
The scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, packing and forwarding along with transportation, storage, installation and commissioning. It also includes operations and maintenance of the plant along with electrical equipment, consumables and spare parts for a period of three years from the date of successful completion of trial run.
The project involves development of 15 MW floating solar PV project at NTPC’s Koldam hydro electric power plant at Harnora in the state of Himachal Pradesh. NTPC intends to finance the project through its own resources. Also, the solar PV cells and modules for the project can be sourced from anywhere in the world.
