SECI has further extended the Request for Selection (RfS) bid due date for development of grid-connected solar projects with a combined capacity of 750 MW in the state of Rajasthan. The project will be implemented on build, own and operate (BOO) basis. A single bidder must bid for minimum and maximum capacity of 10 MW and 750 MW respectively.
The scope of work includes acquiring the land, developing the project, connectivity, and long-term open access. The projects must achieve financial closure within 12 months from the effective date of the PPA. The successful developer will demonstrate possession of the land identified for the project within 12 months from the effective date of the PPA. SECI will sign a PPA with the successful bidder for a period of 25 years.
