Electrical utility company CESC is looking to invest Rs 6 billion in Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh to increase its installed wind energy capacity from 130 MW to 207 MW. So far, the company has invested Rs 14 billion in the renewable energy space, with solar power projects in Gujarat and Tamil Nadu, and wind energy projects in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
