Enfinity Global raises $135 million for 1.2 GW of solar and wind projects

Enfinity Global, a renewable energy and sustainability services company based in the US, has secured $135 million in funding to set up and establish 1.2 GW of solar and wind projects in India. The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) is providing the financing through its subsidiaries of CPPIB Credit Investments Inc. The financing will support projects located across five states—Maharashtra, Delhi, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. These projects are in advanced development stages and are expected to be completed between fiscal year 2025 and 2026.

Upon interconnection, the projects are anticipated to generate 2.4 GWh of annual clean power, sufficient to power more than two million Indian homes and reduce 2.6 million tonnes of carbon emissions.
