Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) has announced the results of its 4.3 GW solar auction under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM KUSUM) scheme. Out of the total capacity, 4.01 GW was awarded, and this capacity was secured by 82 companies in total.
The capacities secured by some of the winners and the tariffs quoted by them are as follows: Dilip Buildcon secured 1,363.54 MW at a tariff of Rs 2.73 per kWh. Furthermore, Sunbridge Solar Power secured 471.29 MW at a tariff of Rs 2.75 per kWh.
Additionally, some other winners, their secured capacities and tariffs include Landsmill Industries (422.02 MW, Rs 2.7 per kWh), Purshotam Profiles (173.15 MW, Rs 2.69 per kWh), and Ceigall India (130 MW, Rs 2.850 per kWh). The remaining winners secured a total capacity of 1,459.25 MW.
According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work covers the design, engineering, construction, and commissioning of the facilities. It also includes the construction of bays and associated switchgear at the substations. The scope also covers providing 25 year operations and maintenance services.
