SJVN has commissioned 128.88 MW part capacity from its 1,000 MW Bikaner solar power project. The new commissioned capacity has increased the project’s total commissioned capacity to 629.90 MW.
Earlier in September 2025, SJVN Limited issued a tender to procure power from 600 MW interstate transmission system-connected wind projects.
Furthermore, in August 2025, SJVN Green Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN, issued an engineering procurement and construction tender for 500 MW solar projects, which will be situated near the 220 kV Bikaner-IV substation at Ambaran in Rajasthan.
