PM Modi lays foundation stone, inaugurates solar project in Rajasthan

Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi has laid the foundation stone of Avaada Group’s solar plus storage project. The project includes 1,560 MWp of solar capacity and a 2,500 MWh battery energy storage system. He also inaugurated the company’s 200 MWac solar power project. Both projects are situated in Rajasthan and together account for an investment exceeding Rs 92 billion.

Earlier this month, Avaada Group rolled out 11 solar power projects in the Yavatmal district of Maharashtra, which fall under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0.

Furthermore, in March 2025, Avaada Group, through its subsidiary, Avaada Energy, commissioned 5,200 MW of renewable energy capacity across nine states.
