HFE raises Rs 10.24 billion funding for hybrid renewable energy project

Hero Future Energies Private Limited (HFE), through its special purpose vehicle, Clean Solar Power Barmer Private Limited, has secured Rs 10.24 billion in funding from the State Bank of India. The funding is for the company’s 60 MW hybrid peak power project being developed in the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. 

The project combines solar, wind, and energy storage and is contracted with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). Furthermore, the repayment tenure of the funding is spread over 21 years. 

Earlier in May 2025, HFE signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the SECI for a 270 MW solar power project integrated with an energy storage system.

Furthermore, in April 2025, HFE signed a PPA with SJVN Limited to supply 120 MW of firm and dispatchable power through a renewable energy project integrated with energy storage.
