Jakson Green has emerged as the winner of Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) green ammonia auction under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition Programme (Mode-2A–Tranche-I). Jakson Green will supply 85,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) of green ammonia to Coromandel International Limited in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. The capacity was secured at a tariff of Rs 50.75 per kg.
Moreover, this marks the sixth auction in a planned series of 13 green ammonia auctions, under a tender aggregating a cumulative procurement capacity of 724,000 tonnes per year.
Earlier this month, Onix Renewable won SECI’s green ammonia auction to supply 50,000 metric TPA of green ammonia to Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers and Chemicals, in Bharuch, Gujarat, for ten years.
