The Adani Group has announced plans to invest Rs 600 billion to expand its power plants in Raipur, Korba, and Raigarh in Chhattisgarh. Reportedly, this expansion is expected to increase the state’s total power generation capacity by an additional 6,120 MW.
This investment is anticipated to boost Chhattisgarh’s economic growth, create employment opportunities, and contribute to the state’s overall development.
In December 2024, Adani Green Energy Limited established a wholly owned subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Sixty Eight Limited (AGE68L), under Adani Renewable Energy Holding Nine Limited to focus on renewable energy development in India.
