Adani Green Energy Limited declares revenue of Rs 25.28 billion for first quarter of FY 2024-25

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has released the quarter 1 results for financial year 2024-25. It has declared an EBITDA of Rs 23.74 billion for the quarter, representing a 23 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase. Their cash profit rose by 32 per cent from Rs 10.51 billion to Rs 13.9 billion. Similarly, revenue also saw a 24 per cent YoY increase to Rs 25.28 billion.

In the past one year, AGEL has added 2,618 MW of power capacity. Their operational capacity has increased by 31 per cent YoY to 10,934 MW. They are also constructing the world’s largest renewable energy plant in Khavda, Gujarat. It will be built over an area of 538 sq km and have a 30 GW generation capacity. Currently, construction is ongoing but it is already generating 2 GW of electricity.

In March 2024, the company had commissioned a 180 MW solar power plant in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. In total, they have more than 10 GW of renewable energy installations.
