Vikram Solar has bagged a letter of award from Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) for supply of modules of capacity 250 MW. The modules are set to be installed at the MW Renewable Energy Park in Khavda, in Gujarat. This partnership aims to spur the growth of solar energy infrastructure in the state.
The modules that will be provided in accordance with this agreement have high-efficiency panels and are part of the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers. As per the agreement, Vikram Solar will produce, test, and supply high-efficiency, bifacial solar PV modules with a minimum and maximum module capacity of 540Wp and 570Wp.
Vikram Solar Limited is one of India’s largest PV module manufacturers with a 3.5 GW of total production capacity.
In December 2023, Vikram Solar signed an agreement with NTPC Limited to deliver 152 MW of high-efficiency crystalline bifacial solar modules.
