LONGi Solar, a Chinese manufacturer of high efficiency mono-crystalline solar cells and modules, has announced a framework agreement to acquire solar cell and module manufacturer Ningbo JiangbeiYize New Technology for $252.8 million. As per the Shanghai Stock Exchange filing, LONGi would acquire the Chinese cell and module maker in a 100 per cent cash transaction.
