The CCEA has approved Phase II of the grid-connected rooftop solar programme. Being implemented with a total central financial support of Rs 118.14 billion, Phase II will see performance-based incentives being provided to discoms based on the additional rooftop solar capacity installed in a financial year over and above the base capacity. The base capacity is the cumulative capacity achieved at the end of the previous fiscal.
